In 1913, the reigning World Series Champion Boston Red Sox played the local Manufacturers League All-Stars to open the then brand new stadium.
NH FISHER CATS PLAY INAUGURAL SEASON AT GILL in 2004
While the NH Fisher Cats' (Toronto Blue Jays AA affiliate) brand new stadium was being built a few blocks away, they played their entire inaugural season in 2004 at Gill Stadium, making Gill the second oldest professional baseball stadium in the country (next to Fenway Park).

Before Roy Campanella was a Hall of Fame catcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers, he played at Gill Stadium in 1946 as a member of their minor league affiliate, the Nashua Dodgers of the New England Baseball League.
