Introducing the new...

Founded in 2001, the New England Catching Camp name has become synonymous with the highest quality of instruction available for catchers around the world. While our goal has always been to offer professional information to catchers at all ages and skill levels, we couldn't have possibly known just how far reaching our program would become when this journey began 16 years ago.

In those 16 years we’ve recognized just how non-existent high-level instruction is for the catching position in other parts of the country, and have continued to do what we can to bring our program to those students and coaches who are hungry for better and more transparent information, running programs for catchers in 20 different states! AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, ME, MO, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA and WA.

We wanted a mark that was simple, clean, and to be timeless.
Our logo needed to be able to be grow with us.

When our program started, there was no business plan, no strategic approach to growing the camp to where it is today. If you had told us in 2001 that over the next 16 years we’d work with somewhere around 10,000 catchers from 49 States, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Australia and Serbia, see over 90 percent of our graduating H.S. seniors go on to play college baseball or softball, watch as 2 of our softball students competed for spots on the U.S. and Canadian National Teams, see 5 of our students taken in the MLB Draft and consult with multiple active Major League Baseball catchers...we most certainly would have laughed you out of the room. Because, at the end of the day, none of this was the plan.

This all started because a nine year old boy had a loving father who wanted nothing more than to see his son achieve his dreams. Knowing that nobody else was out there to help, he took the initiative and sought out the best and most objective information related to the position. Coupled with his own expertise in bio-mechanics and kinesiology, he came up with an approach for catchers that would become the foundation for what we teach today. He did, however, have one stipulation. If someone can prove to us that there is a better way to do something, we’ll do it that way.

After many revisions we finally settled on the new mark that would set the pace for the future of the Catching Camp

It is that sentiment that continues to live on in our instruction and our approach to business, and is why I am so very excited to announce that as a part of a strategic rebranding effort we have decided to drop the “New England” from our name, and introduce you to the new:

No matter where you live in the world, we are your Catching Camp. And we will continue to be your source for the most up-to-date, innovative, objective and high-quality information related to the catching position in the world. Our goal will be to continue to refine and perfect the approach to teaching catchers and the information itself so that we can continue to have a positive impact on catchers from around the world.

We have, and will continue to, appreciate where this all began. We will often run programs in the New England area, but the need for high-quality instruction stretches the entire world and we will do whatever we can to continue bringing our program to any and all who are interested in seeking out the best information available for catchers.

Swag! These are all concepts, but we see great potential for building amazing products around the new brand

As we begin this new phase of the program we want to take the time to thank everyone who has had a hand in getting us to where we are today. This includes all of the students, parents, coaches and camp hosts who have so faithfully bought into what we are trying to do. Without your continued support none of this could ever have been possible. We are looking forward to the opportunities that await us and are anxious to get to work with those catchers who are ready to do all they can to achieve their dreams.
