Scholarship
The New England Catching Camp, LLC is pleased to announce it will award (1) $500.00 scholarship this year to a graduating New England High School senior catcher.
The scholarship can be applied for by either baseball or softball catchers. All applications received will be reviewed by a panel of NECC staff members as well as a group of individuals from business, education, and athletics. The group will make their selection of the 2010 recipient by May 30, 2010.
The following criteria will be used to determine the recipient of the scholarship:
- 1) Will be graduating from a New England High School in 2010
- 2) 2 yrs High School Catcher (Baseball or Softball)
- 3) A student in Good Standing
- 4) Community service
- 5) School involvemet
- 6) Work Experience
- 7) Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or Guidance counselor
- 8) An Essay relating to Catchers
