The New England Catching Camp is pleased to announce that we will be conducting a catching clinic in Flemington NJ March 20th & 21st.
NECC has partnered with Power Time Sports to bring this instruction to the baseball and softball catchers of the region.
Coach Weaver and his son Jay, Senior Instructor of the camp will conduct catching clinics on Saturday March 20th for both baseball and fastpitch softball.
They will also be offering a extensive coach’s clinic on Sunday March 21st.

The clinics will consist of instruction on all aspects of catching skills including receiving, blocking, throwing and all fielding skills.
During the Coach’s Clinic on Sunday, Coach Weaver will show not only what to teach catchers but how to teach it. Local catchers will be used to show coach’s how to teach the various skills.
Schedule for Saturday March 20th,
8:30AM-11 12U and under boys
This session will be for all boys ages 8-12 in the spring of 2010.
11:30AM-2:00PM 12U and under girls(Girls ages 8-12)
2:30-5PM Boys ALL AGES (Boys ages 8-18)
5:30-8pm 14U and up girls (14U, 16U, 18U)
1. Cost per student is $85.00 per session
2. Students must provide own gear, boys must wear cups.
3. There is absolutely no video taping of the sessions permitted by parents or coaches.

Coach Weaver will conduct a clinic for coaches showing them what mechanics to teach their catchers and just as important, how to teach it. Coach Weaver will enlist the help of local catchers to allow coaches to see the instruction techniques in use teaching the skills of receiving, blocking, throwing and fielding.
Cost per coach is $70.
