The NECC is pleased to announce that the US Marine Corps has awarded a $150,000 ROTC College Scholarship to Kyle Jackson of Milford NH. Kyle has been a long time student of our program and a catcher at Milford High School in Milford NH. He will graduate from Milford High School this June.
Kyle was accepted into the US Marines ROTC Program and will be attending the University of Southern Florida in Tampa majoring in civil engineering while participating in the Marines ROTC. He will graduate college as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marines and will go to serve at least 8 years of active duty, although his plan is to stay in for 20 years.
Kyle first came to the NECC when just a Little League catcher and we had the privilege of watching him grow and develop into a fine catcher, student, and citizen. Coach Weaver had the joy of participating in the Court of Honor Ceremony last year when Kyle was presented his Eagle Scout Award.
We wish Kyle well in all of his future endeavors.
