1. Cost per student is $80.00 per session

2. Students must provide own gear, boys must wear cups.

3. There is absolutely no video taping of the sessions permitted by parents or coaches.

The New England Catching Camp’s highly acclaimed training DVD, The Coach’s Guide to Training Catchers will be on sale throughout the clinic for $40, cash or check made to NECC.

NECC director Jay Weaver and NECC staff will conduct catching clinics on Saturday, Dec. 3rd and Sunday, Dec. 4th for both baseball and fastpitch softball, ages 8-18. The clinics will consist of instruction on all aspects of catching skills including receiving, blocking, throwing and fielding skills.

The clinics on Sunday will consist of one clinic for softball and one for baseball. These clinics will combine age groups.

Follow-up Instruction Available Year Round for KC Area Catchers

Local private or semi-private catching instruction is available year round with Advanced Catching Concepts of Liberty, MO.

My name is Betsy Woolums and I am the chairperson for the committee that is organizing a Catchers Against Cancer benefit. The goal of this benefit will be to raise funds for a family dealing with the financial struggles caused by a year long battle with cancer. Dave Weaver, nationally known catching instructor, better known as Coach Weaver to all of us in the baseball and softball communities, has been unable to work since June 2010 as he has battled rectal cancer. His treatments continue and it will be a while before he will be able to return to work. In December his day job went out of business leaving him with more uncertainty.

We hope you can attend and join in the fun of an evening with catchers, good food, great prizes.

Date: Tuesday March 15th 2011

Time: 6-9PM Drop in when you can. Light dinner will be served throughout the evening.

Location: VFW Hall – 15 Bockes Rd Hudson, NH

Admission: Donations appreciated

Festivities Include: 50-50 drawing, Raffle tickets for prizes, Silent Auction (Check out some of the items here AUCTION ITEMS )
