NECC Catching Camp

"Thou Shall Not Steal"

FAQ's of NECC

1. What ages do you work with?

I have students as young as 7 and I also train players up into their college years.

2. Do you only work with boys?

Absolutely not! I have many students that are girls. The 2008 summer camp had 28 girls attend. I even have a clinic session just for the girls.

3. How many instructors are at the summer camp?

If the class fills up to 20 students I will have 4 instructors helping me. These young players are some of the finest high school catchers in New England.

4. Does our child need to have his own equipment to take one of your clinics?

No, many parents want to be sure their child really wants to stick with this position before making the financial investment in equipment. We recommend checking to see if you can borrow some of the equipment from your town youth program. If that is not possible the NECC does have a limited number of sets of gear that can be borrowed on clinic day.

5. Does your private session fee vary depending on the age or skill of the child?

No, our rates are based on the expertise of the coach, not the age or skill level of the player.

6. Do you teach hitting, pitching, or other baseball skills?

No, we are focused on what we do well and that is work with catchers. There are many fine programs all over the country that handle all the other skills. We know that we are one of the few programs devoted exclusively to catchers.
